Crappie never showed up at the Chicken Coop this season. What few trips have been done, have, for the most part been slow. Crappie are now going to move to the shallows in the next couple of weeks. We are really looking forward to the spawn. We have grass again in 4 to 5 foot depths. Check the calendar and give us a call to get in on this action from now till the middle of April.  We are starting to book lots of trips for the summer season on the brush piles also, so book as early as possible to get in on our best time of the year from May through July.

Bass fishing has already been great. Yesterday, Feb.4, we even caught a bass sight fishing. The backs of the creeks are filling up with buck bass. The lipless crankbait bait bite has been excellent.
